carpet cleaning; bleach products are used but avoided; Electrolytic compounds are used (polarization principles) and Encapsulators (same) for carpets
Very effective natural cleaners are Washing Soda and Borax used in hard surface washing and fabrics.
We utilize commercial grade equipment at all times : Asbestos rated Hepa filter vacuums (Nilfisk GDS 930) and various upright and cannister vacuums; CRB floor and carpet machines; rotary scrubbers; Portable Hot Water extractors and a Truck mounted Hot Water Extraction machine for heavy duty cleaning; various types of window cleaning equipment etc.
General Cleaning : Hepa Vacuum; disinfection clean bath-rooms and kitchen; Dust control damp dust and dry (during Covid we utilized CDC recommendations for disinfection cleaning which included a 3 % peroxide based cleaning protocol which we use to this day; very effective for odor control and health).
Regular schedules are fine but seldom needed; commercial situations require regular schedules but residential services are often on-call or as needed.

Carpet cleaning frequency depends on foot traffic volume over time ie: home with 2 adults; 3 kids; 2 dogs(Labs or Retreivers) and a cat requires cleaning every 6 months minimum- this is why homeowners have replaced carpets with laminate or engineered wood floors- real hardwood costs as much as a new car and is seldom used ( solid oak floors will last forever, though) - most new homes have very little carpet installed for this reason because professional cleaning has become so expensive (up to .50 a sq.ft.) - commercial carpet today is mainly carpet tile and is cleaned every 3-4months depending on traffic flow ( .30a sq.ft.)
Carpet stain removal is an "art form"- and depends on knowledge and skill and perseverance- difficult stains ; red wine; makeup; engine oil and grease; paint/latex paint/oil (almost impossible) but can be done- curry stains 70%- mustard 50% any yellow dye #7 or red dyes (Persian or Afghani carpets on top of w/w carpet bleeding red dye over time are impossible to get out.
Pet stains and odors- most dog urine and feces can be treated with normal bio-cide Hot water extraction and treatment- cat urine cleaning and treatment usually requires removal of underlay; clean and seal floor area; replacement of underlay and cleaning of carpet with enzyme based cleaning compounds (can be expensive!!) Blood and or body fluids (animal or human) removal of contaminated area; Tagged and Bagged for incineration by appropriate company and severe disinfection cleaning of contaminated area (infectious disease possibilities are endless but include C-Deficile, HIV Hepatitus etc.)
Same for cleaning uphostery- fabric is usually higher quality and "feel" than carpet requiring a gentle touch and understanding of the endless types of material used- antique furniture is very difficult as dyes are usually not stable and requires knowledge and skill.

Our history developed into significant Bio- Hazard cleaning situations commonly referred to as "Crime Scene" cleaning where environments of extreme violence or Trauma ( natural causes) have occurred- Hoarding situations are some of the most difficult and challenging of all because of extreme clutter and filth of environments- today other companies handle these situations more efficiently than we do- However, because of continued illegal drug trade and associated social problems this creates the situation in Vancouver continues to worsen year after year- to be honest we do not miss being involved in this sad situation.
